Dyffryncowin Welsh Cobs (est. 2009) 

Seiont Erwain, our foundation mare has left her mark on the stud with two daughters currently retained here.  Ebony , now six, typifies an old-fashioned Welsh Cob. Looking like her mother she also carries some wonderful Brenig bloodlines.  A strong mare standing four square and the most caring of temperaments. Unshown to date, she ran out with the stallion during the 2021 and has produced a strong colt foal this year (Dyffryncowin Deio) sold at the WPCS Official Sale in October.

Celtic Princess is probably one of the smartest cobs we've bred at the stud. By Gwenllan Brynmor she is a full sister to Celtic Prince who we unfortunately lost in 2017. A big blow to us as we had a future for him here as our stud stallion.

Princess did well in the show ring as a youngster. We hope to start showing her as a broodmare in the next year or two.

Now six years old, Princess foaled a beautiful filly foal this year by Lanmorlais Exclsuive.

Welsh Maid is a stamp of a Welsh Cob. By Brenig Llewellyn, she has her sire's head. Lightly handled as a foal Maid was allowed to mature as a youngster without any showing or pampering. She has matured into a beautiful broodmare mare producing big strong foals every year.

This year's foal, Dyffryncowin Welsh Prince was sold at the WPCS Official Sale in October.

Eloise was purchased at the Autumn Welsh Pony and Cob Sales 2011 as a foal. Barbara and I first saw her at the Ceredigion Association Foal Show where she came second in her class. 

After perusing through the sales catalogue and seeing her in the pen, there was only one place where she was going!

She has already produced show quality stock with her first foal, Dyffryncowin Victor, by Haighmoor Dafydd, gaining a 2nd as a yearling colt at the RWAS 2016 and a 4th as a 2yr old in 2017.

We have three of her daughters currently retained.

Eloise has produced a colt foal this year, Dyffryncowin Vincent. He does remind us of Victor and was sold at the WPCS Official Sale in October. 

Victoria is a full sister to Victor (2nd Yearling Colt RWAS 2016, 4th 2yr old Colt 2017). 

She has produced a colt foal this year, Dyffryncowin Dafydd, a full bother to last year's filly, Dyffryncowin Velvet. Sire - Dyffryncowin Prince Harry. Dafydd was sold at the WPCS Official Sale in October and hasn't gone far, finding his new home near Ammanford.

Elise is a big bay mare by Dyffryncowin Llew (3rd Yealring Colt 2014 RWAS.

Elise is maturing into a very classy mare. Unshown to date she may well be out in a couple of shows next year.

Elise has produced a stunning black colt foal this year, Dyffryncowin Carbonfibre. Not a white hair on his body he is a full brother to last year's foal, Dyffryncowin Brynmor, who himself was bay with not a white hair on him. Carbonfibre is being retained for the time being.
